Well, I understand where you're coming from, I just happen to disagree. I believe FOX News distorts the news in order to keep Americans in the state of mind that allows FOX to have such massive ratings.



It only has massive ratings because there are a dozen venues for "left-wing", or objective, journalism...NBC, ABC, CBS, MSNBC, CNN, C-SPAN, PBS et cetera. For the right-wing, there is ONE. FOX News.



Why is that? Because they only tell their viewers what their viewers want to hear.

And most of the Tea Party does not condone them either. I've encountered countless instances of various Tea Party groups denouncing racism and hate, encouraging crowd at rallies to be cool, to be peaceful, to not even bother the police around the rally.



The police are there because a part of the movement IS militant, and the extreme of that extreme are some who have openly advocated for the use of Tea Party rallies as a manner of inciting a conflict against the government.

If today was this bad, imagine what tomorrow will be like...



Imagine how ANGRY these people will be when HCR passes.



Everyone laughed at the Tea Partiers, brushed them off, ignored them as crazies. All you did was further marginalize them. Now they're scared for their country and for their lives.



If people didn't take the Tea Partiers as a serious and dangerous threat before tomorrow, they soon will. But, to pull a Glenn Beck on this one, I really hope I'm not right on this one. Very much so.
